Jessica and Nathan
We first met Jessica and Nathan in September of 2020 just after the world had turned a little bit crazy (covid crazy) and having booked their big day for July 2021, they came to see us to discuss and book their wedding flowers, just 2 months later we received an email from Jess saying they had made the hard decision to cancel the wedding due to all the restrictions that were in place and felt that they had fallen out of love with the planning of their big day all the rules and regulations were making things so difficult in what should have been an exciting time in their lives.
Fast forward to February 2022 and Jessica got back in touch with us having booked a new date and venue for their special day, 3 years later than the original date. Our diary was checked and the date was free, it was meant to be! We arranged another meeting and things were set in place. It was all systems go.
Jessica was really easy going regarding her flowers, her bridesmaids dresses had been chosen and the colour scheme was burnt orange with a splash of blue. As for the actual flowers she was happy to give us free reign, and so between us we chose a mix of white roses, orange spray roses, echinacea, white astible, white Veronica, blue eryngium and foliage. As you can see from the images these all went perfectly together.
The venue was Northorpe barn in Mirfield, a stunning 17th century barn just outside of Dewsbury, for the venue Jessica wanted matching small tied bunches to be used at the end of the aisle, these were to be slotted into the chair sashes, and once the ceremony was over they were transferred into rustic style jars for the table decorations, a fab way to utilise them again, keeping costs down but getting maximum effect from the flowers. The day was perfect, the weather was kind and Jessica and Nathan had the wedding that they had first hoped for when we first met them way back in 2020.
